The challenge is further compounded by the need to support multiple device protocols—such as BLE, USB, and Wi-Fi—and diverse data formats including HL7, FHIR, and proprietary systems within a single solution. All of this must be achieved while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance, including robust audit trails, access controls, and end-to-end encryption for patient data.
