Arcadion Joins Cylix Applied Intelligence as Its Managed Services Division

Arcadion has officially joined Cylix Applied Intelligence as our dedicated Managed Services Division. 

With this change, managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud operations, enterprise infrastructure, AI operations and ongoing technical support will be part of the Cylix Applied Intelligence organization, offering customers a more direct route from AI strategy and engineering to the daily work required to ensure production systems are secure, reliable and cost-effective.

For Cylix this is a key step in building a company around the full enterprise AI lifecycle, rather than treating AI as a project that ends once an application, model or agent goes live. Enterprise AI is starting to affect data platforms, business applications, identity systems, networks, cloud environments, GPU infrastructure, and security controls all at once. Those pieces need to work together, for customers, and there needs to be clear accountability after deployment. By bringing Arcadion into Cylix, we deepen that operational layer, and give the teams building artificial intelligence systems closer contact with the teams running the environments upon which those systems depend.

What Arcadion Joining Cylix Means

Arcadion is now the Managed Services Division of Cylix Applied Intelligence. 

Arcadion has proven capabilities in managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud operations, infrastructure management, SOC services and managed AI. Cylix offers enterprise AI strategy, data engineering, AI development, agentic systems, digital twins, high performance computing and production AI infrastructure. Those capabilities provide customers with a single organization that can be involved from the very beginning of an AI initiative through deployment, security, support and long-term operation.

The goal is not to create a larger catalogue of disconnected services. This is intended to fill the gaps in responsibility that can exist when strategy, software, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity and operations are all provided by different vendors. Those handoffs can slow projects, complicate troubleshooting and make it harder to know who owns a problem once a system is in production. The combined Cylix model is aimed to bring more of that responsibility under one organization.

Building Around the Enterprise AI Lifecycle

Cylix has structured its enterprise AI lifecycle around five connected stages: 

  1. assessment
  2. data preparation
  3. development
  4. deployment
  5. and managed operations 

The process begins by identifying the business problem and assessing technology readiness, then moves through data engineering, application or agent development, infrastructure deployment and production support. Arcadion gives the later stages of that lifecycle greater operational depth by bringing managed infrastructure, support and security capabilities closer to the engineering work.

Assessment and Data Preparation

Enterprise AI begins with the business case and the data that supports it. Cylix reviews the opportunity, the technical constraints, the expected economics, and the systems that will need to be involved. Data may need to be cleaned, structured, governed, or connected across multiple enterprise sources before it can support a production AI workflow, from there. This work determines whether an idea is feasible and whether the resulting system can work reliably when it reaches users.

Development and Deployment

Development could include AI applications, agents, retrieval systems, standard ML models, digital twins and integrations with existing enterprise platforms. Then there’s the new set of decisions around infrastructure, data residency, GPU capacity, security, observability and performance that come with deployment. These are not different technical problems. The architecture chosen during development has direct implications for how the system will be operated and supported in the future.

Managed Operations

The operational phase starts when the system is integrated into a real business process. Models and business data will change, retrieval indexes will need to be updated, integrations can fail, agent permissions will need to be reviewed and infrastructure demand can grow as adoption increases. So production AI needs constant monitoring, support, tuning and governance. Within Cylix, Arcadion’s role is to underpin this part of the lifecycle with proven managed-services processes and operational accountability.

Why AI Needs an Operations Layer After Deployment

Cylix’s Managed AI services address the work required after launch, including model and retrieval-quality monitoring, re-indexing, GPU infrastructure management, performance tuning and ongoing support. The same principle applies to advanced compute. Cylix’s Managed HPC Services cover the architecture, deployment, optimization and ongoing operation of HPC and AI clusters.

This is important as conventional artificial intelligence systems rarely exist in isolation. An enterprise agent can rely on a CRM, ERP platform, identity provider, APIs, vector database, internal data sources and a cloud or GPU environment, all at the same time. If any of those dependencies are unavailable, misconfigured or insecure, it doesn’t matter how well the underlying model performs: the AI application is impacted. Managing the AI means managing the environment around it. 

NIST AI Risk Management Framework takes a similar lifecycle view of AI risk, reiterating the importance of governance and operational oversight beyond the initial stages of development. One of the reasons for Cylix is that the managed-services function should live close to the engineering and infrastructure teams, not outside the AI delivery model.

For instance, Cylix developed an AI-powered estimation and quoting platform for the pre-engineered steel buildings industry with Kirby Building Systems. he platform processes complex inquiry documents, structures project requirements, identifies missing or conflicting information, retrieves comparable historical projects, incorporates market information and prepares a traceable draft commercial quotation for estimator review.

A system like this combines document intelligence, retrieval, enterprise data, model orchestration, application engineering, access controls and human approval. The engineering work is significant, but the long-term value depends on the surrounding system remaining available, secure and supported. That is the connection the combined Cylix and Arcadion model is intended to strengthen.
